I saw a post on another blog about flowers a couple of weeks ago. Now this blog was showing off their flowers and also their photographic expertize. Well, I am no photographic genius. I just have some pretty flowers blooming at our home. And, I must admit that I am showing off just a little. Especially to those of you in Arizona. I hope this is not too painful. These grow with little effort on my part, some have just sprung up from the earth, no help from me. And the amazing thing is that I do not have to water them hourly or risk their death. It is so fun for me. These are hydrangeas. I have a huge plant at the back of the house that is just beginning to bud out. It is the prettiest blue. There are at least twenty heads on the plant but only two or three flowers on the plant are blooming now. So when it is in its full glory I will add it.
This is Moya's hand. She followed me around while I took these.
Roses given to me by my neighbor, so technically not at my house, but I can see them. Does this count?
Peony. Just planted. These are my favorite flower. Jason bought three plants for me. They were not in bloom when we bought them. They all ended up being white. Should I stick with all white in this flower bed? I think it would be dramatic and you walk by this flower bed to get to our front door.
The rain got this one. By the way, I have not touched the colors on these pictures. It is really these green here.
Rain also got these roses. This bush has been severely neglected and I am reading up on how to take better care of it.
Iris. These are the ones that just sprung forth, no help from me. Amazing.
This bush is near the front of our drive. I thought it was just a weed, but now it is blooming. Still may be a weed. Not quite certain. I will leave it alone though. If it blooms, it can stay.
Moya wanted to be more involved than just following around. So now she is my model.
Time for the close up. Not the greatest photo skills I know. But she is still cute I think!
Azela. I believe. We have another in the front that has been neglected also. It has more flowers than leaves. Need the learn how to help that one out, too.
This is a begonia. I just put in here cause I can't find all the pots I made the movers pack. I guess it is back to the boxes. Dang it!
Last but not least. I planted this flower box. Two of them border either side of the dock.
I love all the life around this place. There are enough flower beds to keep me busy forever. I keep saying I'll get caught up when the kids are all in school next year, but I wonder if I'll have more time then. I always thought it would be easier once the kids were out of diapers. But it is just as busy, in different ways. So I say next fall, but who knows.
This ends the bragging. Thanks for enduring!
